ON ME: SIMILAR TOP  |  WIDE LEG PANTS  |  WEDGES (so comfortable!)  |  HAT

ON FOS: POLO SHIRT  |  SHORTS  |  SNEAKERS

ON SAN: CHAMBRAY ROMPER  |  CARDIGAN

Yesterday was the first day of Spring, and although it feels like spring pretty much year round in SoCal, it got me all excited to pull my shorts and spring dresses out of storage, and of course pick up a few new things for the warmer weather!

One of my favorite trends for spring is the Nautical trend, and right now Old Navy is killing it with classic, modern, nautical-inspired pieces. Some trends are hard to wear, but with it's simple color palette and breezy silhouettes, nautical is one that everyone can wear, and will easily and seamlessly fit with virtually everything in your closet.

Wide leg trousers are super trendy right now and although I wasn't super sure about them at first, I really love these pinstripe linen-look ones from Old Navy. The simple pattern and classic silhouette makes it easy to pair with pretty much anything in your closet...try a simple tee, a chambray button up, a top with wider stripes or dressed up a bit with a breezy white button up, wedges, and a hat like I did here. They're also great for postpartum when you only feel like wearing pajamas.

I spotted these red shoes on the rack the other day and Fos instantly fell in love with them. They're soft and comfortable, they're bold but still go with everything, and the elastic laces make them easy for him to slip on and off on his own. He pretty much hasn't taken them off since we got them. I'm also loving all these super soft polo shirts that are great for everyday, but also come in a bunch of spring colors that would be perfect for Easter this weekend!

And of course I couldn't resist this pin-stripe chambray romper for San. I paired it with a little cardigan (it doesn't get much cuter than a newborn in a cardigan) to keep him cozy and warm. The sweater and romper would both be so cute for Easter too!
