As the temps are getting cooler and cooler, I'm in my glory. This is the type of weather I want to bottle and keep around for the next six months.
When we took these photos, Keith, Nate and I were on our way to brunch. I was in the mood to dress up, but in a more casual way (does that make sense?) so I threw on my new accessories from Sole Society: suede booties, a thick black choker (can't stop wearing it), a few statement rings and finished the look off with a black suede moto jacket.
Going out to restaurants with Nate has gotten easier and easier. I think the key is to get your child used to different scenarios and situations. I know it can seem like an intimidating task at first, but if you're a new or soon-to-be mom, just do it! Whatever you and your partner enjoy doing, involve your child! Nate's become a pro at "hanging out" at restaurants and just taking in his surroundings. Of course it's not always smooth sailing, but in the general scheme of things, he's been pretty good. And of course, a glass of wine always helps! On this day, we went to Bar Tabac and ended up getting our favorite dish there, mussels, so that was a bit tricker. We ended up taking turns eating (or feeding each other) and passing the baby back and forth. In some restaurants, he'll hang in the stroller, but if it's a smaller restaurant, he'll just take turns hanging on our laps.
If any moms have any great tips on that, would love to hear!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
